We ordered the panels and they are great for additional shade and protection for rain. They shipped fast. The zippers are easy to use. We highly recommend them.
Replaced the poles on my tent. The quality of my tent is excellent. I have had it for over 12 years and it is still in excellent condition. Thanks
The Springbar tent more than met my expectations and hopes. First off, this is the pearl grey color, which is a soothing, natural pale green. Then there is the large back window, which is wonderful to view the sunrise or sunsets from! Next there is a full length front side window and door windows, which makes being inside this tent seem like being in a leafy bower that you can view the world from. Then there is all that headroom, which makes the tent airy and homey. The walls are all straight enough that all the floor space is usable, you can stand up anywhere in this tent. The fabric and construction from flooring to ceiling, including window mesh and zippers, are all well done. And this 5'2" lady in her 60's, can put this tent up and take down and carry the seperate parcels, all by herself! Thankyou Springbar!!!
Quick response seen tent set it up in back yard just too try out was better than expected can't wait for vacation 😀
The 10 x 10 Ground Tarp is a great addition to our Highline 6. It adds protection to the floor of the tent and also provides a nice clean surface when folding and packing up the tent. The material is heavy duty and I expect it will last much longer than typical blue tarps from the hardware store. I appreciate the included stuff sack, which helps with packing and keeping the ground tarp tidy. 5 stars!
The tent has worked great for my Duck Valley spring fishing trip this year. The weather can vary from sunshine to snow and did but my tent kept me warm and dry. The stove addition is amazing for cold mornings and returning from a day of fishing.
We're so glad we got this tent! 10x10 is plenty of room for our family of three and extra room to store gear or invite a friend. I love the green canvas color, the awning, and the big windows (front and rear). We added the Stormyfly and Ground Tarp. The tent is pretty easy to set up--easier with two people, but easy enough for one person to do alone. Packed, it weighs over 75 pounds and takes up a fair amount of cargo space in our Subaru. The quality appears top notch and we look forward to many years of camping in this tent!
This is a great addition to the Springbar tent and pretty easy to install. I appreciate the added zipper to secure the fly to the ridge pole; and the included speed buckle straps are easy to install and adjust. The stormfly provides extra protection--not just from rain and wind, but also from bird poop and tree sap. Hopefully it will hold up to wear and tear--I'm a little concerned about the durability of the corners that rub against the tension bars. It appears to be reinforced in the corners with a double layer of PU-coated ripstop polyester.
Maybe the corners would be better doubled with a heavy duty canvas? After a day of heavy winds (40 mph) it looks like there is already some wearing at the point the tension bar was against the fly. Time will tell, but overall I'm satisfied and would recommend!
I will write a complete review as soon as I have the chance to try and set up the tent . Delivery was excelente . I
Great buy 2 get 1 free on the canvas bags. I hope you continue to make them and not convert to all plastic bags like so many other companies.
I have my Vagabond set up in the yard for several days now. It’s been rained and snowed on. There is no water coming in except some moisture that congregated at the upright poles seam. Water was pooled a bit in that area but it was mere drops that seeped inside. No leaking from above. I have the rain fly as well but haven’t set it up yet. This tent will be nicely “seasoned” now. High quality in all aspects. Putting up that rain fly will make this tent weather bomb proof. It’s so nice to stand up in the Vagabond. No hunching over. The zippers are serious heavy duty but rattle when wind blows and moves the walls of the tent. I put rubber bands through the eyelet to immobilize them. No more noise. The pearl grey actually seems more a sage color. It was what I saw in the pictures online and is a pleasant light color. It’s going to be a great tent for many years to come!
